Cannondolls from Durango, CO set to hit the Jim Beam Stage only at the Warehouse!  

With a shared passion for beautiful melodies and deeply honest lyrics, Caitlin Cannon and Kate Willyard formed The Cannondolls, an Americana music project bridging a quirky yet emotionally-rich songwriting style with modern influences of Jason Isbell and Shovels and Rope, as well as the ghosts of heroes like Hank Williams, Woody Guthrie and Patsy Cline, all inspiring them to tell the truth and leave no word wasted.

Describing their first collaboration Willyard says the co-writing process, "while cathartic, is not always easy," but adds that she and Cannon come out on the other side with songs that parse the human condition with songwriting that is consistently fresh and relevant, often darkly humorous, yet disarmingly relatable. "We put each lyric to the Isbell test,” says Cannon. “When a line or idea is in question, we won’t settle if we'd be too embarrassed for him to hear it."

Known for intricate harmonies akin to those of First Aid Kit, their eclectic sound draws in audiences and spits out fans. The duo added fiddle player Alissa Wolf in 2015 and often features guest musicians for special shows/venues.
