War Hippies is a new country duo and lifestyle brand from USMC and US Army combat veterans, Scooter Brown and Donnie Reis. Forming in 2022, each has enjoyed an extremely successful career of their own, with a combined 25 years of touring and over 20M streams.
Reis, a prodigy as a child, is a world-renowned violinist who has spent years on the road with various artists playing violin/fiddle, piano/keys, guitars and contributing vocals. Off the road, he has written and produced many hit songs for a wide range of artists, groups, television and film projects spanning the genres of Country, Rock, Pop, Gospel and Singer-Songwriter. Donnie’s achievements include 26 Billboard Top 10's and 4 songs on the Billboard 200 chart.

DONNIE REIS
Owner and Executive Producer of the Twelve 3 South Recording studio in Nashville, TN.
Served in the US Army from 2001-2009. 1 combat tour in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2004- 2005.
Picked up the violin at 10 years old and quickly mastered it, won several solo competitions and gained national recognition as a concertmaster of several symphony orchestras and pit orchestras.
Launched his own violin line in 2017, The Donnie Reis Violin Collection
Received a full music scholarship to Miami University but chose to enlist in the U.S. Army after his sophomore year.
Donnie has worked with a variety of artists including: The Charlie Daniels Band, The Frontmen of Country [Richie McDonald (Lonestar), Tim Rushlow (Little Texas), Larry Stewart (Restless Heart)], Lee Greenwood, Foreigner, Zayn, Jon McLaughlin, Home Free, Straight No Chaser, Grace Vanderwaal, Jonathan Jackson, Amy Lee, Erick Baker (+ Heart, Edwin McCain, Ed Kowalczyk), Champion Band (+ Byron Cage, Tye Tribbett) and has composed music for multiple film and TV spots.
